“FILLING THE GAP” IS READY TO FLY!
Erasmus+ project ‘Filling the Gap: Open Educational Resources for supporting teachers in distance learning’ is ready to fly to Leuven, Belgium, for the training activity ‘Close in the distance learning: becoming a tutor’!
What happened since our last update?
Project partners keep on working hard to create the MOOC on Distance Learning and the Distance Learning Activities Kit (DLAK), our tools to develop digital skills and support secondary schools teachers in distance learning activities.
The project team has been divided into 4 groups, according to expertise; each group is working on a specific MOOC module: Didactic Planning (Platon and Liceo Fanti), OER and inclusion (Archilabò), Evaluation (Bernardin Frankopan School and Colegio Huerta Santa Ana) and Thematic focuses on inclusion and psycho-physical wellbeing of teachers and students (Archilabò). Under the supervision of the coordinator of the MOOC (UCLL), each team is sharing their experiences for creating learning contents
Regarding the DLAK, Irecoop has selected the distance learning activities to be included in the Kit and it is working with partners to integrate them on the online course.
So, now it is time to meet to train and be trained for validating together the contents!
Next March all the partners, together with participants selected from partner schools, University teachers, educators, will meet at University College Leuven-Limburg campus for 3 days-training in order to become expert about management, contents and tools of the MOOC. We want to build a team of technical-scientific tutors in each country for helping other teachers in using the online course.
Moreover, what about eTwinning work? Our eTwinning labelled schools, Bernardin Frankopan School and Liceo Fanti, are very active in keeping the C.R.E.A.T.E. eTwinning project dynamic and alive, while managing the TwinSpace dedicated. They have already started to organise some activities with students of all 4 partners schools – from Croatia, Italy, Greece, and Spain: pupils have been very active in doing presentations and researches, as well as collaborating via Twinspace Forum and Zoom video conferences.Do not forget to have a look on our project website and stay tuned for the next news!
